Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Product Specialist Coated Products in our West Chester Ohio regional office. The Product Specialist Coated Products is responsible for working closely with several internal stakeholders to provide accurate forecasts and monthly reporting, Annual Business Plan, and Commercial Reviews.Additionally, the Specialist receives several ad-hoc requests and works closely with IT to ensure data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background with the desire to learn the Commercial side of the business.Summary of Responsibilities:Provide commercial data and analytical support to the following internal and external stakeholders: senior leadership, Account Managers, Product Control, Legal, Manufacturing Planning, other cross functional departments, Government, and third-party agencies.Create ad-hoc and routine reports that support the following efforts:Business strategies, development, and planningPerformance measurement and benchmarkingAccount Managers; customer and product metricsPricing analysisForecast analysisIndustry, market, and competitor analysisProviding outside agencies with relevant commercial and market dataAct as a business liaison to several cross functional departments.Maintain commercial data integrity by investigating, evaluating, testing, and proposing improvements to systems.Independently identifies business problems, researches, and analyzes their origin, and works with the business and IT to develop the best approach to fixing the issue.Works independently and with teams to collect and analyze data and to research, implement and advance the use of IT solutions.Effectively prioritizes issues and is able too quickly adjust priorities based on changing business needs.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED.2 years of working experience with Cleveland-Cliffs (or Predecessor Company) or industry experience.Results oriented and must work well meeting tight deadlines.Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.Strong analytical skills summarizing, formatting, and handling data.Experience with data extraction through Microsoft Access, SQL, or other data mining platforms.Proficient in Microsoft Excel with data filtering, pivot tables and charting.Skilled in both written and oral communication.Ability to work in a collaborative team environment across multiple functions and with all levels of management.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degreePower BI experience and other digital analytical platforms.Experience with/knowledge of SAP and GMS.Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
