About the Opportunity
We require a new addition to our growing Cyber Security Nuclear team in the North West. We are looking for a systems engineer who has experience across the systems lifecycle delivering large programmes that involve complex systems integration. You will be highly familiar with the technical, technical management, and agreement processes defined in ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 – Systems and Software Lifecycle Processes. You will be reporting to the Nuclear Technical Lead.
Specifically, we are looking for an individual that can undertake, manage, or govern:
Requirements development at system, subsystem, and component level
System Architecture and System Design development, including the production of interface specifications
System integration activities
System verification and validation activities
System operation and maintenance activities, including a good knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support activities
The definition of a Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
Ensuring subordinate engineering management plans are in alignment with the SEMP
Engineering estimation (e.g., for change packages, risk management activities, or trade studies).
Engineering planning
Engineering resource allocation and coordination
Provide technical assistance to Business Development when necessary
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Here's What You'll Need:

Relevant Systems Engineering experience, with proven success in both project delivery and bid wins
Understanding of the commercial Win-Plan bid processes within the typical Critical National Infrastructure industrial marketplace
Excellent presentation and written skills and can analyse complex problems
Experience of UK Nuclear or MOD programmes
Strong understanding of requirements management and requirements decomposition
Experience of Systems Engineering QA and Line management for large multi-disciplinary Systems Engineering teams
Managed systems engineering governance regimes in line with industry best practice
Understanding of managed services, ITIL, ITSM & SIAM
Ability to hold security clearance
