Our team is responsible for researching, developing, and deploying methodologies to help NVIDIA's products become more energy efficient; and is responsible for optimization RTL for best-in-class performance per watt.

　　As a member of the Power Optimization and Analysis Team, you will collaborate with Architects, Performance Engineers, Software Engineers, ASIC Design Engineers, and Physical Design teams to identify power inefficiencies in NVIDIA's next generation GPUs and Tegra SOCs. Your contributions will deliver “Green” energy efficient products.

　　What you'll be doing:

　　Work with architects and RTL members to identify energy budgets for design blocks.

　　Develop methodologies and workflows to select and run a wide variety of workloads on GPUs.

　　Define metrics to track energy variations impacted by varying workloads, process, timing, floorplan, and layout.

　　Automate gathering & organizing large datasets to detect power anomalies

　　Root cause power metric deviations thereby identifying power optimization opportunities.

　　What we need to see:

　　You are pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in related fields.

　　Strong coding skills, preferably in Python.

　　Background in digital design, VLSI and/or Power Optimization background.

　　Interest in computer architecture and energy efficient GPU designs.

　　Familiarity with Verilog and ASIC design principles is a plus.

　　The hourly rate for our interns is 19 USD - 93 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
