DescriptionThe department of Physics and Astronomy in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate.About the OpportunityThe successful candidate will design, implement, and characterize quantum light sources with the goal of maximizing the flux of time-energy entangled photons, work with collaborative team to introduce the sources into existing microscopes, and support educational efforts in optics/spectroscopy. The applicant is expected to actively drive research outcomes, publish results and analyses in peer-reviewed journals, and present findings at international conferences.
