As a Pharmacy Technician 1, you?llsupport the on-site pharmacist to prepare prescription orders forfacilities. You?ll be responsible for ensuring that pharmacy standardsare maintained, policies are carried out and objectives areaccomplished. The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoystroubleshooting and resolving problems and is dedicated to helpingcustomers. For you, no task feels too small and no challenge impossible.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.Responsibilities ? Assisting the Pharmacist with proper labeling andfilling prescriptions ? Accurately preparing prescriptions under thePharmacist?s supervision ? Packaging Rx labels with an in-depthunderstanding of Framework system ? Packaging medications in bottles orbingo cards for dispensing and for delivery ? Restocking and organizingthe pharmacy shelves (Drugs, supplies, etc.) ? Removing out of dateitems from inventory/shelves ? Refilling offsite inventory boxes withemergency medications. ? Basic operation of pharmacy automation(Accuflex, Dosis, E2, etc.) ? Replenishing Tharo and Zebra labels andmaintaining other various pharmacy equipment ? Other duties set bymanagement. Qualifications ? High school diploma or GED is required ?Pharmacy Technician educational course work preferred ? Registeredtechnician or registration in process unless required by applicablestate ? One year or more of Long-Term Care or Retail pharmacy experiencepreferred ? Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, teamenvironment ? Able to stand on feet for 8 hours Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities: ? Strong analytical problem solving and strategic thinkingskills ? Effective multitasking ?
