Intel's recently announced IDM 2.0 strategy includes a plan to significantly expand the manufacturing network, establishing new capacity and skill to meet the accelerating global demand for semiconductors. The Disaggregated Manufacturing Organization (DMO) will play an important role in this strategy, leveraging Intel's Advanced Packaging technology portfolio to deliver leadership products. To enable this ramp, DMO is building an Advanced Packaging manufacturing facility in Malaysia (PGDM: Penang Disaggregated Manufacturing), increasing its investment in this region which has been a critical part of Intel's supply chain for nearly five decades.
The IE (Industrial Engineering) Systems Program/Project Manager reports to the IE Systems Manager in Penang, Malaysia for this role. The IE Systems PM will be responsible for managing programs/projects for the Factory Automation System's needs. The IE Systems Group will also serve as a primary interface with the central automation systems groups (Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation, Manufacturing IT (MIT), Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations) to ensure the systems needs of the site are met.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Project manager for green field startup of PGDM Systems reporting environment and capabilities. Collaborate with DMO VF (Virtual Factories) partners for transfers, work closely with team of technical resources, create and execute detailed project plan, within budget/resources and timeline. Provide project updates/PAS/risks/mitigations to management and stakeholders.Experience and good understanding of automation systems and semiconductor manufacturing process, indicators, apply the knowledge to work closely with MIT to ensure MIT automation system install and testing (SAT/UAT) project plan meets factory start-up readiness.Co-represent with MIT to Factory Management on MIT project status, PAS, risks and mitigations. Supporting strategic and tactical factory needs with a focus on systems benchmarking, capacity, efficiency, cost and quality, while defining, representing and ensuring site requirements are met, and implementation risks are assessed and resolved.Factory representative for automation systems requirements to MIT and business partners. Translate factory requirements, timing needs, and success indicators into MIT project plan for execution.Working effectively with partner and support groups to ensure effective planning, forecasting, adherence to schedule, risk assessment, development, and deployment of manufacturing, IE and Cost systems, while owning and driving improvements to the follow-on systems/tool integration, configuration, access, reports creation, and sustaining activities.The scopes of the projects include support ROC (Remote Operations Center), Automated Ops, Inventory Management, Tool Efficiency, Production Tools, Cost Management, and Capacity Modeling, as well as data validation and defining requirements, etc.. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Science degree5+ years of experience in semiconductor within an Automation/Systems role.5+ years experience in program management, proficient with program management tools for planning and tracking PAS.SQL/DB, PowerBI skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in both Fab front-end and ATM back-end Automation/Systems role.Professional PM certifications or proficiency with SaFE/Agile, DevOps.Experience with Intel or semiconductor Factory systems and automation planning, integration, configuration, access, reporting, and sustaining functions.Expertise to effectively communicate to senior management in concise executive summaries to drive site strategies and needs.Demonstrated technical leadership and a track record of problem solving with creativity and out-of-box thinking.
