Job Summary:
The Neuropsychology Program in the Section of Neurology is housed at
Children's Hospital Colorado. Currently, 8 pediatric neuropsychologists are
supported by 5 psychometrists, nursing, and administrative staff.

world-class medical destination at the forefront of life-changing science,
medicine, and healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide primarily outpatient, as well as some inpatient, neuropsychology evaluations of children, from birth through young adulthood, with a range of medical disorders including, but not limited to, epilepsy/epilepsy surgery, cancer and blood disorders, neuroimmunology disorders, cardiac disease, stroke, neuromuscular disease, genetic disorders, sickle cell disease, craniofacial disorders, and metabolic disorders.
Screening, consultation within multidisciplinary clinics, targeted evaluations, as well as more traditional neuropsychological evaluations.
Developing clinical and research programs for specific populations, depending upon interests and clinical need.
Participate in formal training programs for neuropsychological externs, interns, and post-doctoral fellows.
Commitment to providing care for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Work Location:
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Applicants must have completed an APPCN-member fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology
Applicants must be eligible for or have completed Board Certification (ABPP).
Successful candidates will have had comprehensive experience in clinical care, teaching, and research/academic endeavors.
Condition of Employment:
Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:
Training/experience in epilepsy neuropsychological evaluations is strongly preferred for this position
Participation in interdisciplinary pre/post-epilepsy surgery evaluations, including fMRI, intraoperative mapping, and Wada testing is strongly preferred for this position
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication skills; both written and orally
Broad knowledge and clinical skills in Pediatric Neuropsychology
Commitment to Patient Safety, Quality Care, Communication, and Customer Service

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$112,000.
The above hiring rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
