A Place to Be Proud.ResponsibilitiesAnswer phones, take requests for transport tasks, enter the task information into the applicable Transport system.Dispatch transport tasks to available transporters; assign and monitor transporters to high volumes areas (zoned transporters).Place phone calls to arrange or schedule 3rd party transport requests.Take and place calls for, and dispatch non-patient transport tasks including housekeeping, and other tasks in a call centeren vironment.Field informational and complaint calls from customersInform customers of estimated time of arrival (ETA), delays, cancellations, and unforeseen circumstances.Assign rest and meal breaks to transporters to ensure adequate coverage is available for transport tasks.Provide aid with hospital-based programs to hourly employees.Document and record any incidents that occur during their shift.Escalate incidents and complaints to Team Lead or Department Leadership for resolution.Perform Patient Transporter duties as needed during times of high volume.Assist with the on-boarding and orientation process of departmental employees.Generate productivity reports for review by Department Leadership.Note: Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance is an essential job function.Employees are expected to perform work as scheduled.Please see the physical requirements for this position listed below.QualificationsEducation Requirement:High school diploma or GED, required.Certifications: BLS, required.Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required.Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Experience:Minimum 1 year of Patient Transport or equivalent experience, required.Need help finding the right job?We can recommend jobs specifically for you!Click here to get started.EOE M/F/Disability/Vet
