Oracle SRE DBA
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 10 years of experience
Play a critical role in designing, implementing, and running cloud Oracle database and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our SaaS Oracle Database
Skill Set and Experiences
Work in 24x7 production support environment previously
Good understanding of cloud technology related to Terraform, Ansible,Gitlab and Grafana
Good knowledge of OracleExadata cluster
Good knowledge in Oracle RMAN
Extensive experience on Oracledatabase 11g, 12c and 19c Performance tuning and patching on RAC
Sound experience on Oracle Golden Gate
Proficiency in scripting and automation using programming languages such as Python or Shell
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multi-functional teams
Key Responsibilities:
Participate weekend DBA work
Willing to work flexible hours (For example from 8 am to 5 pm or 10 to 6 pm or noon to 8 pm Pacficit time zone or India Time Zone) – No night shift
Participate in real time Saas Database performance troubleshoot.
Participate Oracle Database patch in rolling fashion
Database export/import, patching, backup and restore issue
Monitor and fix Golden Gate issues
Develop and maintain automation scripts using shell and python to streamline configuration, management, monitoring and orchestration of cloud database.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of database in the cloud
Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and procedures
Implement security standard methodologies and compliance in Cloud infrastructure
