JOB DESCRIPTION
PROJECT ENGINEERING LEAD - MMS (Marine Manufacturing Strategy)BRP and Manitou Pontoons are looking for a Marine Manufacturing Strategy (MMS) Project Engineering Lead who will report directly to the MMS Manager. The MMS Project Engineering Lead will support all continuous improvement projects and activities for our Manitou Pontoons production and warehousing locations. As part of your role, you will be directly contributing to plant optimization, and plant expansion projects. These projects can include manufacturing site layout, new construction and overall efficiency and capacity improvements to our Powder Coat facility, Manufacturing Facility, and Warehouse.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Lead all strategic and capacity projects for the product line.
Update tracking sheets with pertinent data to support report outs and progress presentations.
Manage CAPEX budgets.
Assist with the governance of the team and communicating information to all associated parties.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional special/strategic projects or processes.
Create presentations and provide information used for business updates for the divisional management meetings.
Assist with planning and organizing of strategic workshops related to the site, helping to develop the content with various cross-functional teams.
Heavy collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate planning and project execution.SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTSRequired
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent
5+ years of relevant experience managing projects
Prior experience managing a budget
Working knowledge of a wide area of business disciplines
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross functional teams
Experience with gating processes and with business processes of a companyPreferred
7+ years of relevant experience managing projects
Experience managing creating and reporting milestones to leadership
Experience planning and organizing strategic workshops
