What you’ll do:
The primary responsibility of the Equipment Engineer is to ensure all Equipment or Machines are ready to run products and meet the desired performance to meet the target OEE. This will be achieve through a comprehensive Maintenance Program. The Equipment Engineer also define, document, qualify, deploy, optimize and maintain production equipment. Continuously improve the equipment health through thorough analysis of equipment related issues and instituting corrective & preventive actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Define and or develop, qualify, deploy, and optimize equipment and document this process so that manufacturing team have guidance to produce. Expected documents are SOP’s and checklists
• Develop a maintenance program that will ensure all equipment will be available and will perform at their best and meet desired OEE level.
• Plan and execute corrective, preventive, predictive maintenance activities for the production equipment
• Train manufacturing team to make sure the process or machine operation is understood
• Continuously improve the equipment performance by analyzing the defects, machine errors, equipment behaviors, also process waste and institute corrective, preventive and predictive actions.
• Support PROLaunch activities

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineer is preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience as Equipment Engineer in an electronics/electrical environment is preferred
• 5 year PCBA experience is a must
Skills:
• In-Depth knowledge on problem solving tools and Maintenance Programs is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership skills; Ability to drive results even as an individual contributor
• Ability to work in teams and collaboratively to achieve solutions to complex problems
