R10033645 Manager - Inventory Control (Open)Location:Vancouver, WA (Admin) - ManagementHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Hardgoods Inventory Manager coordinates activities involved with hardgoods inventory control.Target Annual Salary: $85,000 - $110,000Annual Bonus Potential 15%Full Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 401KThis manager supervises and works closely with the inventory control specialists to provide guidance in hardgoods management, reporting, research, problem solving, and other analyses by performing the following.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.Promotes effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration with inventory specialists and internal customers.Provides leadership and management direction to associates with day-to-day operations of projects including compliance, planning and execution.Leads, coaches and mentors associates; this will include positive motivation and performance evaluation, coaching, providing regular feedback, communication of goals, leading regular team meetings and calls.Recruits, retains and develops the necessary team to ensure success of the team's goals.Provides back up coverage in the absence of the Inventory Control Specialist. Ensures that Airgas operating standards are adhered to in regards to stocking, selling, using and adjusting of hardgoods inventoryActs as an interface and point of contact for all hardgoods inventory control functions.Coordinates and is responsible for any Wall-to-Wall hardgoods inventory - where needed.Sets up and is responsible for the Hardgoods Daily Cycle Count ProgramIs responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Norpac's Daily Inventory Adjustments.Provides regional brand strategy guidance to District Managers, Area Branch Operations Managers and Branch Managers.Actively works with accounting to balance the stock status and GL stock value.Works with the buying center and data standards on moving inventories to reduce specific store's surplus stock levels.Runs and examines reports on an ongoing basis to identify dead stock.Coordinates any write offs with accounting.Runs and examines reports on an ongoing basis to identify dead stock and slow moving hardgoods inventory that should be returned to vendors.Creates, formats and distributes to the branches several monthly hardgoods inventory reports.Works with Area Branch Operations Managers (ABOM) on training of all locations on hardgoods inventory control and inventory management.Travels to branches to provide hardgoods management training with branch associates.Works with accounting to resolve inventory discrepancies and questions.Coordinates with corporate marketing managers on implementation of Bolt-on store display settings.Participates in a weekly call with other regional inventory managers to collaborate best practices.Works collaboratively with the branches to achieve Regional growth objectives to minimize working capital through the Working Capital Ratio indicator.All employees are expected to perform any reasonable work request that falls within the qualifications but not specifically described.________Are you a MATCH?Required Education:Associate's degree (A.A.) from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience; or five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience/training.Required Length and Type of Experience:SAP or similar software system experience.
