Job Description
The Maintenance Technician installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Responsibilities include observing mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble, dismantling devices to remove defective parts, inspecting used parts for dimensional changes, and adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments. The technician also repairs or replaces defective parts and lubricates and cleans parts as needed, in accordance with food/beverage manufacturing quality system practices. Additional duties include installing special functional and structural parts in devices, testing their performance, and maintaining inventory records. The technician must strive to continuously build knowledge and skills, exhibit sound judgment, and follow safety and security procedures.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Howey In The Hills, Florida.
Work Environment
Half the plant is climate-controlled with a very wet/humid environment. Personal protective equipment (PPE) required includes steel-toed shoes, glasses, beard/hair net, and ear plugs. Shifts available are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, and 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
