JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Set up, operate, and adjust various typesof manual or automatic machines under minimal supervision. Set up,operate, and adjust various conventional or automatic machines such asComputer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines. Set up all tools,fixtures, and controls for each new job. Work from drawings and writteninstructions to create replacement and new parts in making repairs tometal parts as well as for experimental apparatus or prototypeequipment. Read and modify programs by making necessary offsets for CNCmachines. Report variations in program sequences, positioning, cycletime, etc. Adjust machine to control part dimensions. Inspect in-processpieces to ensure parts are to specification or blueprints. Edit andprove out programs to meet or exceed customer requirements. Able toenter job data in computer Maintain a clean and safe workplace inaccordance with Rexnord policies, 5S procedures, and in line withRexnord core values. Qualifications 3years of experience in amanufacturing environment operate and program CNC machines High schooldiploma or equivalent a plus. Effectively communicate in English andwork in a team environment. Knowledge of various metals and ofmeasurements used in machining processes. Accurately read and comprehendmoderately complex material such as blueprints, work instructions, ISOprocedures, etc. Ability to write to record basic information Knowledgeof and ability to compute basic arithmetic skills such as, or comparableto: add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals.
