About this role:
To design and run innovative and impactful learning solutions, to accelerate the development of Personal Effectiveness Competencies, Digital Capabilities, general Business Skills, Management and Leadership Capabilities in Novartis Corporate Centers (NOCC)
To support the business in fostering an Inspired, Curious and Unbossed culture through Learning Opportunities based on the NOCC Focus and Talent and Transformation strategy.
To provide consultation to the business as a Learning Professional, and lead Program Implementation using global content and applying it to the local market, providing access to leading external expertise / partners, as well as developing unique programs that are deemed strategic priorities for India.
The ideal candidate will possess strong Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering skills required to operate effectively in a matrix organization. The role also requires strong Leadership skill to support the Head, NOCC Learning
Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Select appropriate strategies, research design, and measures - fit-for-purpose learning solutions in the region / NOCC. Make recommendations to aid decision-making for the business in the area of learning/capability building based on data analysis and deep diagnosis. Manage and implement continuous learning journey across the NOCCs
• Evaluate results of continuous learning journeys in relation to organizational goals (to address local talent and business development needs, and in line with global Learning direction). Build and sustain regional and/or country level leadership team relations to address local strategic development needs and uncover learning opportunities, together with Head of Learning, NOCC.
• Facilitate Learning and ensure learning outcomes of fit-for-purpose learning solutions in the countries and/or in the region. 100% timely delivery of all training requirements. Lead learning projects which involve adapting core content and/or customized content via suppliers
• Manage and implement learning projects which involve adapting core content and/or customized content via external resources. Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements for audit compliance and ensure all related documentation is audit ready at all times
• Model leadership in developing people by strengthening cross divisional communication within the learning community at the country/regional level and percolate all relevant global communication cross divisionally. Establish strategies with local leading universities as required for local market external SME / thought-leader input and faculty
• Support research on innovative technologies/social media/tools for the effective learning delivery and operations, and set the trend of new learning environment
• Build involvement by fostering relationships across the local P&O / Business community / cross divisional to stay informed about the local customer needs across divisions and share global strategic direction of the learning function periodically
• Encourage integration of change into organizational culture through cross divisional sharing of standard processes, find opportunities to reduce duplication and drive learning resource optimization across divisions, identify programs / practices that could be of value to scale at a global level.

Role Requirements
• University degree or equivalent experience preferably in educational sciences, change management, coaching an advantage.
• 8-12 years professional experience in the field of learning / employee development / talent management
• Track record of introducing new strategies, innovative learning methods and use of technology and redefining learning within organizations
• Strong collaborator, project management, advising, facilitation, and communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with Senior Leadership
• Capability to operate and implement in a matrix organization, with and without direct supervisory control
