  GENERAL OVERVIEW:

  Leads the most complex planning, research, evaluation, design and development of IT Infrastructure systems by applying engineering, hardware and software design theories and principles to develop a compatible system infrastructure in line with organizational strategies. Responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of the most complex IT Infrastructure components such as operating systems, software tools, and utilities. Leads the most complex studies of IT Infrastructure performance and traffic analysis. Leads the determination of the most complex systems design requirements and ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Leads the most complex generation of IT Infrastructure engineering policies, standards and procedures. Mentors less experienced team members.

  ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Leads teams in clearly defining, with the customer, the most complex requirements, deliverables and timeframes. Escalates issues and make recommendations to resolve them to the appropriate audience.

  Leads the most complex root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting IT Infrastructure.

  Leads the development and/or delivery of the most complex technical training in technical areas. Mentors less experienced team members in the execution of their duties.

  Leads the completion of the most complex project tasks to enable the on time, within budget and scope delivery of IT Infrastructure projects.

  Assures compliance to required standards, procedures, guidelines and processes.

  Other duties as assigned or requested.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum

  High School Diploma or equivalent is required

  5-7 years of experience in Information Technology

  Pay Range Minimum:

  $78,900.00

  Pay Range Maximum:

  $146,000.00

  Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
