Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned)
40 percent Correctly program, load and unload pottery from kilns in an efficient and timely manner to meet production schedules.20 percent Communicate production needs priorities with lead and or supervisor on a daily basis.20 percent Notify supervisor and or lead of materials needed for re order cones, kiln furniture, etc. to maintain optimum inventory levels and on-going business operations10 percent Scan tags labor into computer system for labor costing and tracking purposes.10percent Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.

QualificationsEducation and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to use hand tools applicable to trade.Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.Attention to detail.

Physical and Mental Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, crouch, kneel, bend, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects.Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operations, set-ups, inspections, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation.
Environmental ConditionsThe worker is exposed to extensive burns when working around kilns.
