Description:
Looking for a Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join our team and oversee and perform the design of control panel and instrumentation projects
Design custom control panels for waste water treatment companies. Must have the ability to lead others and help monitor projects from cradle to grave.
Will be responsible for checking work and consulting with end clients on Panels and projects.
Design control panels using AutoCAD or similar software
Responsible for monitoring and controlling processes projects.
Work with project managers to develop control panel and instrument submittals. Working with end clients to get drawing approved then working with the floor and assemblers to ensure projects are assembled properly
Provide technical support to ensure compliance with UL and other quality standards
95% electrical design and 5% (or less) Mechanical design
Must Haves
Minimum 6 years' experience in controls and/or process engineering in the water/wastewater industry
Electrical design (AutoCAD 2023)
Industrial Control Panel Design experience
PLC’s (Modicon, allen bradly, seimens or any other similar program)
Leadership and vendor management skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in controls, instrumentation, electrical troubleshooting, and design on Control Panels
Control panel design and layout
Programmable logic controllers (PLC’s)
Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)
