Position Overview
The Industry Relations Coordinator will support Encore Canada’s revenue growth by enabling our sales teams to increase their book of business through industry relations support. The primary responsibility of the role is to help manage all industry activations. The candidate will have the ability to develop a deep understanding of our existing customers and prospects, industry associations, as well as all of our solutions offerings. This position will report to the RVP, Industry Relations.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate industry relations initiatives to support sales initiatives.
• Assist in coordinating aspects of industry relations events and internal committees for IR activations.
• Assist in creation of industry relations marketing collateral, articles and social posts.
• Coordinate and track deliverables for all sponsorships and partnerships.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics of industry relations initiatives.
• Manage compass data for industry relations including show campaigns, ongoing client activity, industry association membership activity and reporting.
• Perform research and track payments and invoices for various projects.
• Build presentations, internal surveys and other communications for leadership.
• Assist with clients’ needs as required.
Job Qualifications
• Requires 2- 4 years of experience
• Post secondary education in a related field preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow direction and prioritize efficiently
• Team player with strong intrapersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and positive can-do attitude
• Proficient in Compass (CRM) an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with Adobe InDesign considered an asset
• Experience in event technology, meetings and events industries considered an asset
• Experience in event planning an asset
• Fluently bilingual (English/French) an asset

Office
Work is generally performed at an office that is moderately quiet. Team members will occasionally visit other work locations for meetings or for other business reasons. Working times will include days and may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore. Estimated travel between 25% - 50%.
