Our internship program is designed to help you not only understand what we do but how and why we do it. If you are looking for an experience where you can immerse yourself in a business, establish a network, learn, develop your skills, and have some fun, than this is the place for you. This internship will be part-time during school and full-time during the summer.
The stuff you will do:
The Inclusion & Culture intern will work within the People Operations (HR) team, to support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) and the employee experience.Research and present, materials, tools and recommendations to support Meritage's DE&I strategyProvide support for Meritage's Employee Resource GroupsAssist with coordination, content collection and maintenance of Mertiage.Net, the company intranet.Support the administrative efforts for various training and employee engagement effortsManage the process for different voice of the employee efforts; i.e. engagement surveys, pulse surveysSupport the department in the preparation and analytics of various reports including comment analysis, trend analysis, etc.Learn our core values and why they drive everything we doTranslate classroom experience into practical application during the internshipParticipate in cross-functional projects involving other interns and business leaders centered around current business challengesPresent real-world business recommendations to senior leadership that can help drive our strategyWrite a paper focusing on the experience or another assigned topicMeritage does not sponsor work visa's.
