Summary: Responsible for assisting with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. Answer HR related inquiries from associates and outside sources Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in recruiting by attending recruiting events, managing the applicant tracking system (ATS) and processing pre-employment checks Assist in New Hire Orientation and onboardings as needed. New hire packets, badges, and update HRIS Manage payroll process and follow up on questions as needed. Monitor existing tracking systems and run reports as requested. Examples: attendance, performance reviews, reimbursements, vacation tracking, employment verifications, etc. Assist with special events, services, and programs as needed Helps with the implementation of services, policies, events and programs Encourage safety and the development of co-workers Follow up with any needs within the company of personnel that could be transferred/called back from layoff. Review Applicants daily -Review of present/future needs and the available applicant we have for those positions. Monitor and update all current/previous applications. Pre-screening and testing of qualified applicants to include scheduling of pre-employment physical and screenings. Assist in scheduling and distributing information for applicant interviews within the company. Assist in New Hire Orientation and onboardings as needed. Knowledge of local, state and federal laws Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills Experience with data entries and month end reconciliation Basic understanding of Microsoft office products and using computer systems, excel is preferred.
