The Global Product Manager, General Imaging Ultrasound is a key strategic position responsible for overseeing the subset of the General Imaging Leadership portfolio’s lifecycle, from concept to market launch. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, product development, and cross-functional team leadership and plays a critical role in shaping the success and competitiveness of our products, meeting customer needs, and driving business growth. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership abilities.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis, Market needs: Define target customer segments and assess market size and growth potential, utilizes various channels to deeply understand the customer needs for each target segments
Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and roadmap. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to shape the product vision. Collaborate with R&D teams to define product specifications, features, and functionalities. Drive product development processes, ensuring products meet quality, performance, and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Orchestration: Assesses the wing to wing health of the portfolio and lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, regional sales, supply chain, regulatory and quality team to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategies.
Product Launch: Develop go-to-market strategies and plans for product launches. Work closely with marketing and region teams to create marketing collateral, pricing strategies, and sales training materials.
Product Lifecycle Management: Continuously monitor product performance, collect customer feedback, and make data-driven decisions for product improvements and enhancements and determine end-of-life strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, healthcare or related field
Extensive experience (typically 5 - 7+ years) in product management, preferably within the ultrasound or medical device industry.
Strong understanding of ultrasound technology or medical healthcare technology applications, and market dynamics, Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the healthcare industry
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products through their lifecycle.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Desired Characteristics:
Strong understanding of ultrasound technology, applications, and market dynamics.
8+ years’ experience in product management, product development or related field
Commercial experience working closely with Ultrasound customers
Deep Product Management/Marketing expertise, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, requirements, product life-cycle management,
Lean Management Expertise to drive and execute Problem Solving on main improvement activities
Analysis, Understand and drive strategies to remove obstacles to growth
Proven ability to work globally, Proven ability to influence and negotiate key stakeholders
