This position will be working out of our Des Moines, IA location.

　　Overcrowding, safety, and aging infrastructure - these are all challenges faced by every community today. As a member of Foth's geospatial/survey team, you will help clients meet these challenges while minimizing impacts to the community and the environment. Working to support development of utilities, roads, and bridges for municipal, state and airport clients; you will be a part of providing effective solutions that are cost-conscious and practical, while utilizing the latest technology.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Conduct impactful technical civil engineering activities for municipal and transportation projects from field to finishUtilizing digital level to set high accuracy elevations on project control and benchmarksOperating traditional land surveying tools (GPS/Total Stations) to complete topographic mapping surveysCalculating horizontal and vertical positions from engineering plans for contractors to utilize during construction seasonProviding field support for 3D scanning and sUAS (Drone) operationsCompleting property research for Land Surveying activitiesUtilizing 2D for platting activitiesDrafting of existing site conditions utilizing multiple software programsAbility to travel 15-20% of the timeRequired Qualifications:

　　Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related degreePreferred qualifications:
