Entry Level SQL Data AnalystAs an SQL Data Analyst, works primarily with Tech Team members, focusing on SQL scripting, database management, and technical support to optimize operations for Appraisal staff. Key responsibilities include SQL scripting for report generation, routine database maintenance, and support for production instances of Appraisal-specific tools. From data collection to computer-assisted mass appraisal to tax billing and collections, you can help develop property and recording solutions for the public sector.LocationDayton Metropolitan Area, OhioTravel0-5%ResponsibilitiesCreates and runs custom SQL scripts to produce accurate and targeted reports that address specific needs.SQL scripting to support maintenance of data as required.Complete regular database maintenance checks, including tablespace.Support production instances of Appraisal Tech tooling, as well as diagnosis and triage of data-centric issues.Work with team members on various engagements to help with documentation and project tracking.Assist in creating tickets for new engagements.Assist in the process of standing up internal tools and applications as needed.Ensuring that data collected in the field is smoothly and efficiently uploaded into client systems.Assist in Quality Assurance and Issue reporting for internal tools.Performs basic data mapping and data conversion. Identifies client data field and structure needs and maps and loads the data to the software systems.Creates and runs reports to address specific needs and to ensure data accuracy.Writes technical documentation, including process reference, application usage notes, report parameters, and other information.Assist in the maintenance of managed server instances.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.Experience and proficiency in SQL, especially querying data and scripting updates.Experience with developing PL/SQL packages preferred.Familiar with coding / scripting languages preferred: (HTML, JavaScript, XML, PowerShell, Python).Strong aptitude with database management systems software - (i.e. MS SQL Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer).Understanding of relational databases (e.g., how to JOIN normalized tables).Solid analytical skills, including data analysis.Attention to detail with strong technical problem-solving skills.Solid organizational skills.Strong written and oral communications skills including the ability to effectively write technical documentation and specifications and train non-technical audiences on databases and related tools and solutions.Solid interpersonal skills including the ability to work independently and cooperatively on a team.Strong time management skills.Strong Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel.Must be able to travel up to 5%; must be able to provide a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with personal liability insurance on the vehicle.#LI-SB1#LI-HYBRIDGreat Place to Work & Grow Your CareerCome join us as we transform the public sector!
