Job ResponsibilitiesCreate and design automation control systems and create project documentationand drawings to meet client requirements including control panels, controlarchitecture, junction boxes and loop diagrams. These drawings can be bothfrom scratch or using Sundyne or customer standards and templates.
Execute project deliverables to agreed schedule and scope.Diagnose automation problems and interact with teams, clients and vendors.Configure software and hardware packages according to client designspecification.Program PLCs and HMI / SCADAs.Communicate with project stakeholders the progress relative to plan.Execute project deliverables to agreed schedule and scope.Responsible for the completeness of hardware design prior to build,ensuring reduced debug project phases.Provide accurate Bill of Materials as part of design, including associatedinstruments, and associated assemblies, adhering to customer specificationor documenting deviation acceptance from customer as required.Support manufacturing during the startup and integration phase.Consult and Aid the EIC engineer in understanding hardware architecture andcritical designs.Participate in design validation.Develop as-built drawings.Support and coordination with shop floor Electricians.Coordinate work with other process, mechanical, electrical and supportdisciplines.EIC Engineer QualificationsBachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineeing or similarqualifications.5+ years of direct experience as a controls engineer/Designer working onautomated processes / system integration in a manufacturing environment orindustrial processes, for oil and gas related packages and/ormanufacturing of electrical/control Panels.Background in AutoCAD, Panel Design and Fabrication.Proficient with written and verbal technical communication.Working knowledge of OSHA, NEC, IEC and other industrial codes.Understanding of industrial control panel design and fabrication (UL508A).Familiarity with engineering documentation such as P&IDs, process flowdiagrams and standard operating procedures.Abilities* Ability to develop parametric family content within a Revit environment.Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements to includebut not be limited project installation and start-up activities, clientmeetings, company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry relatedseminars, forums, or conventions, etc.* Proficient with the current version AutoCAD electrical.#LI-RS1If you like growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers,you'll enjoy your career with us!
Compensation DetailsAnnual Salary: $75.00 - $90.00
Additional Compensation The Salary offered will be determined based on theapplicant's education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities,and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for thisposition. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus through thecompany bonus program. This position may also be eligible to receive aRelocation bonus, payable as a taxable lump sum, in accordance with theSundyne Relocation Policy.
