Responsibilities

Weatherford are looking for an experienced Drilling Supervisor.

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

To ensure the safety and accurate position of the rig moves

To ensure operations are implemented within the agreed time scale and budget

Implement effectively and develop operational procedures

Overseeing all phases of well operations

Coordinate various operations simultaneously

Ensure that both drilling rigs and equipment are fit for purpose

The lead investigator on any incidents

Develop contingency and emergency procedures such as well control etc

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Qualifications

5+ years in a similar Drilling role working on LSTK projects

Re-entry experience is essential

Fluent in both English and Arabic

Experience of working within the Middle East required

Mechanical ability necessary to perform repairs

Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills

Self-motivator, self-starter
