Description

Position Overview: The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the daily operations of our construction projects. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of construction logistics. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with our diverse workforce and client base.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of construction crews, equipment, and materials to various job sites.

Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and field workers to ensure timely and efficient operations.

Monitor and track the status of ongoing projects, adjusting schedules and resources as needed.

Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, job site locations, and project progress.

Resolve any issues or delays that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

Assist in managing and maintaining equipment and vehicle logs.

Provide excellent customer service to clients and address any concerns or inquiries.

Perform other administrative duties as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in construction management is a plus.

Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role, preferably within the construction industry.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of construction processes and terminology is a plus.
