About the Role
As the Sales Strategy and Operations Director you will support the design and execution of regional sales strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to the VP in the delivery of short- and long-term regional business priorities, including Go To Market. Reporting into the Global Sales Effectiveness and Services Organization, you will be an independent advisor focused on delivering business objectives.
Responsibilities
Ensuring that account segmentation is workable for the region based on regional and customer knowledge and available resourcing
Supporting the VP in sales organization and territory design
Supporting the VP with quota allocation, acting as point of contact between sales, compensation and incentives team.
Assessing the effectiveness of the sales incentives in place and recommending improvements as needed
Providing business intelligence and advice on the progress to quota. Identifying areas of the business presenting opportunities and risks relative to the successful achievement of quota
Monitoring and reporting on the status of key commercial initiatives in collaboration with VPs and adjacent organizational functions. identifying risks and opportunities and driving the required action
Providing insight to the VP on sales team performance based on data and adoption of processes emphasizing Salesforce data integrity.
Working cross functionally to ensure that sales training and development needs are addressed by relevant organizational functions
Requirements
Possess experience in sales and or sales operations roles in complex matrixed organizations
Demonstrate high level of business acumen and ability to understand key regional and market developments
Possess excellent analytical skills
Demonstrate ability to operate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Finance
Be able to represent the business view cross functionally and acting as a trusted advisor to deliver business priorities
Have the ability to provide broad strategic perspective, but also the granularity needed to identify and advance improvements
