Continuous Posting-Dietary Worker (FSW II) - (23000CIV) Description **This is an open and continuous posting for full-time (40 hours)positions. ** Taunton State Hospital is a seeking a candidate to joinour Dietary Department to serve food to patients and maintain sanitarystandards and practices by cleaning and washing equipment in the workarea. Please note: The incumbent will work 40 hours per week on dayshift. The days off and hours, are to be determined. Schedules: 6 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Duties and Responsibilities (theseduties are a general summary and not all inclusive): Serves hot or coldfood on the tray line and at mealtimes to patients and staff to ensure acorrect meal service to clients per policy. Prepares cold food bysetting items on the tray line to be held at proper temperature tocomply with department protocol. Prepares food for special diets byfollowing instructions on dieting cards. Cleans areas used forpreparing, serving and cleaning food and food and food service equipmentafter each meal to comply with department protocol. Cleans floors bysweeping and washing using appropriate supplies and equipment dailyafter each meal service to ensure that State sanitary codes are met.Cleans interior surfaces such as walls, furniture, etc. by washing usingappropriate supplies & equipment as assigned by supervisors daily checklist. Empties waste receptacles and disposes of waste properly to complywith State sanitary regulations. Washes dishes and other food serviceequipment after and during meals to comply with State sanitary codes.Cleans kitchen equipment, racks, ovens, etc. as assigned. RequiredQualifications: Six months Dietary experience.
