This position is responsible for delivering products, including hazardousmaterials, to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bedtrucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, andsafely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customersatisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the mostefficient mannerLoad customer orders properly on the truckEnsure appropriate forms are completedLoad, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely mannerMaintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicingneedsProvide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handlecomplaints from customersAdhere to assigned routes and following time schedulesAbide by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving recordPrepare reports and other documents relating to deliveriesOperate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting,and mixing customer orders and waiting on customersMinimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment withoutneeding sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have a valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver's License (CDL) witha hazardous materials endorsementMust have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a Departmentof Transportation (DOT) licensed "medical examiner" listed on theFederal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry orbe willing to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditionaloffer of employmentMust be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrievematerial from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings andweekends, with or without reasonable accommodationPreferred Qualifications:
Have at least a High School diploma or GEDHave at least one (1) year experience working as a delivery driverHave at least one (1) year of work experience using material handlingequipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks,hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollys, conveyor belts, etc.)Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related productsAbility to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one languageAbility to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
