We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Migration Specialist in Downey, California, 90242. The role involves working with data migration, processing and mapping, along with reviewing UAT results for errors. The position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handling data migration tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

• Utilizing strong SQL and Excel skills for data processing.

• Engaging in data mapping activities.

• Regularly reviewing UAT results to identify and rectify errors.

• Using Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, and Apache Spark for data processing tasks.

• Implementing algorithms and utilizing cloud technologies for data management.

• Developing APIs and using AWS technologies for data storage and retrieval.

• Implementing analytics using Apache Hadoop.

• Creating data visualizations to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in Apache Kafka for real-time data processing

• Proficiency in Apache Pig for scripting and data flow operations

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing

• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies for data storage and retrieval

• Skill in Data Visualization for interpreting and presenting data in a clear, concise manner

• Ability to implement complex Algorithms for data analysis and processing

• Experience in Analytics to turn raw data into actionable insights

• Proficient in Apache Hadoop for distributed data storage and processing

• Ability to develop and manage APIs for data integration and interaction

• Working knowledge of AWS Technologies for cloud-based data engineering solutions
