Cycle Counting experience
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years’ experience in warehouse/storeroom/ stockroom operations professional work experience
Verify product against packing slip and enter information into software.
Issue materials to client as requested by pulling and staging material
Place received material into proper storage location- tagging, repacking, and delivering.
Maintain Inventory cycle counting, organize the stockroom on a regular basis, including sweeping and maintaining standard requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Frequent walking, standing, carrying and lifting to 40 lbs. unassisted.
• Microsoft Office Programs including Excel; Often using keyboard and mouse to input data into computer system
• Occasionally utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material
• Daily reading, writing and speaking English
• Often reaching, bending, stooping, and twisting to handle inventory
• Flexibility to take on shift changes as required by position and ability to work overtime as needed
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This function serves in the logistics area of the storeroom; including receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, client interface, customer service and computer transaction entry. The focus of this position is to service the client with their parts and inventory needs including: locate stock and deliver stock items to their destination outside of storeroom upon request or per Kanban, receive stock, issue materials to client, and use systems to track inventory as well as to locate and verify inventory for the client. This position is a regular, frequent point of contact with the client and requires a strong, effective customer service capability.
