The role of a Customer CareSpecialist is a key position within Assurant because you are the voiceof our organization and clients. You are highly valued as our customer?sprimary point of contact and you care about helping others. The CustomerExperience is at the forefront of all you do, exceeding expectations atevery turn. You are a listener, problem solver and believe in quality.You enjoy being on the phone and customers hear your smile as youpatiently help them find resolution. When you start, we train you: ?It?s a combination of ?classroom? ?on the job? training that istypically 4 weeks long but duration can vary ? Classroom training hoursare typically Monday through Friday from 9am ? 4pm with a lunch break ?Upon completion of class room training you will receive your regularshift start working those hours Primary Job Responsibilities: ? Handlein-bound calls from our customers by researching and resolving loanlevel inquiries in hazard insurance, mortgage banking and property loss.? This role requires listening to our customer?s concerns and showingempathy while resolving their issue. ? Because every customer isdifferent we expect you to take the initiative to truly understand ourcustomers current challenges, solve them, and use your expertise toproactively help them avoid future challenges. ? You may be asked toparticipate in special projects, assume new responsibilities, and adjustpriorities as requested. ? A robust paid training environment thatenables you to learn the business, the systems, policies and mostimportantly how to effectively engage and resolve customer challenges.Training will be a combination of classroom, online and side-by-sideobservations. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: ? Strong attention todetail ? Love talking to people and ability to WOW customers on everycall ? Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills ? Relentlessdrive to own the customers problem and resolve it ? Ability to adaptwell to change ? Ability to work well in a fast paced work environment ?Ability to think outside of the box to resolve problems ? Ability tomulti-task using technology, including call handling, loan level reviewand call documentation ? Minimum high school diploma or GED, and 1 yearwork experience required ?
