Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the Poland, Maine, area. The Controller will manage all aspects of accounting operations, oversee financial planning and analysis, and lead the accounting team. This role also involves financial modeling and close collaboration with the organization's owners.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial management

• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain financial stability

• Conduct regular auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting

• Oversee the budget processes, including preparation, management, and review to ensure financial efficiency

• Lead the corporate financial planning to support strategic decision-making

• Monitor and manage the annual budget to ensure financial goals are met

• Conduct the annual operating budget to guide the organization's financial planning

• Oversee year-end closings to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as Controller

• Proficiency in managing all Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven skills in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes and Budget Management

• Experience in Corporate Financial Planning

• Ability to manage Annual Budget and Annual Operating Budget

• Past experience in handling Year End Closings
