  Job description :

  As the Communications business continues to transform because of the 5G transition, we see a significant effect to several key verticals in which 5G and related communications technologies such as Edge Computing to enable the next wave of digital transformation for CSPs and enterprises. This market trend and business need across industries is now providing growth to the telecommunications sector in the form of enterprise private networks. These networks are used to build modern use cases for manufacturing automation, improved logistics, advanced automobiles, cognitive supply chain systems across many verticals and other use cases that introduce new consumer products, business to business workflows and OPEX savings to our clients.

  The 5G Communications Services Business Development Executive role fills a key sales role within the Capgemini-Engineering GBL by driving new logo, complex multi-tier and existing client solution sales in partnership with our market units and other business lines. Whether part of a standalone client need or a complex digital transformation solution, the Business Development Executive can drive complex solution sales from consultative phase to operational and maintenance phase.

  The Business Development Executive will work with business analysts, solution architects, other Client Sales leads to build new opportunities for existing clients within our market units and leverage client needs to establish incremental and new communications services sales and engage our network equipment providers, ISVs, web scale and other clients as partners in the end-to-end ecosystems. This new initiative for Capgemini-Engineering, of selling Communications based services and solutions to MSO/Cable Operators and will have booking and revenue targets on a yearly basis. It will require an inspiring leader that has detailed understanding of engineering skills required in technologies and trends like FTTH, OLT, PON, ONUs, DOCSIS, Network Convergence (Wireless and Wireline), Private Networks in Enterprise to support the deployment of the architecture across multiple greenfield and brownfield sites. Understanding of wireless core architecture to support carrier-scale deployment of WiFi and cellular access using PON and DOCSIS backhaul and supporting ease of mobility between access points and network types.

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  · Establish targeted revenue, bookings, and profitability goals. Execute on plan.

  · Building and handling Qualified Sales pipeline consistent with account strategy.

  · Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports in CRM.

  · Define engineering skills and requirements for this new business.

  · Drive offering development with pre-sales and solution architecture teams.

  · Work with business development teams to target clients and logos.

  · Work with Capgemini market unit and business units to connect with existing clients that have private networking needs or have initiatives that will lead to private networking sales.

  · Provide thought leadership on current industry needs and drive the development on new offerings and higher value services across industries for Communications Business.

  · Work with Industry leadership team to incorporate enterprise network business requirements and growth plans into the overall Industry plans.

  · Engage with clients across multiple industries to aim for sales closure while ensuring we are solving the client’s problem and improving the value of Capgemini Communications services into the opportunity.

  · Lead Generation, Qualifying, Negotiating and Closing opportunities for client with the objective of driving profitable growth.

  · Researching, mapping, establishing, developing, and maintaining positive relationships with prospects and client team members.

  · Structuring and crafting deals for Value, leveraging, and providing input on offerings, services, capabilities.

  · Listening to the client and working jointly to identify the client’s biggest engineering challenges, preferences and purchasing triggers.

  · Build long term client relationship and become a true consultative partner to our clients as the execute their transformation.

  Required Skills:

  BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering.

  10-15 years’ experience in Telecommunications Product Engineering and/or Engineering Sales with MSO/Cable Operators like Comcast, Cox and Charter .

  Understanding of Sales Force and inputting information into CRM.

  Deep knowledge of the Broadband/Telco Industry.

  Working knowledge of advanced digital transformation initiatives across key verticals including intelligent industry.

  Ability to drive sales to closure across technical and C suite individuals.

  Understanding of Tier One organization, previous sales experience with referenceable clients.

  Experience in building and executing business plans and business cases.

  Working knowledge of modern Distributed Access Architecture and related applications.

  Experience with selling directly to, selling with and selling through a Tier One MSO/Cable Service Provider.

  Experience with JGTM by creating blueprints with Capgemini and Partner Solutions.

  Won and led deals of $5-10million independently.

  This is a Hybrid role working onsite at Client 3 days per week and remote home office 2 days per week.

  Local weekly travel to client site required, some additional travel up to 30%.

  Must be based in Atlanta area.
