Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for a Business Systems Administrator to join our business team in the Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) office. This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
The Business System Administrator will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and providing various levels of support for the company’s business applications which include Deltek Costpoint ERP and Time Collection, Concur PRPO-Invoice-Expense, and other in house developed applications. We are looking for an individual who is a problem-solver that can effectively communicate with others at all levels of the organization.
Day to day maintenance and administration support for the Costpoint and Concur applications
Work with vendors on application enhancements and upgrades
Trouble shooting and resolution of user technical issues
Develop application specific reports using IBM Cognos, Access, and Excel
Generate and maintain admin and user documentation, including training and reference materials
Work with other departments to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource to be resolved quickly and efficiently
Keep current on the latest releases
Test enhancements, updates, and system changes to the current applications
Create training materials for end users as required
Identifying process improvement opportunities driving the continuous improvement of our business systems to support initiatives.
Recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of applicable experience
Possess strong oral and written communication skills
Be a confident self-starter who pays close attention to detail while working in an engaging, fast-paced environment
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
Excellent customer service skills including initial contact through problem resolution.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Time and Expense, Concur, or Cognos is a plus
Ability to work in teams, manage projects and multitask.
Professional demeanor and ability to display a positive professional attitude.
Solid understanding of finance and accounting functions.
Demonstrated ability to improve processes and procedures in a complex business environment
