Job Description

Develops profitable new business account relationships within the Sports and Entertainment industries. Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services. Makes sales presentations to existing and prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs. Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales. Establishes and maintains internal relationships.

The Business Development Consultant will be required to travel 50% or more to meet with business and will be covering North America market presenting merchant service solutions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Nine or more years of product sales experience

Ability to travel

Preferred Skills/Experience

Expert knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations

Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills (outbound sales)

Strong negotiation and decision-making skills

Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

Expert knowledge in sports and entertainment industry

Merchant services solutions is a plus but not a requirement

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $95,285.00 - $112,100.00 - $123,310.00
