  About the Team

  DoorDash Drive is one of the fastest growing segments within DoorDash. We provide the premier white-label delivery service capability, enabling our merchants (restaurants, grocers, retailers, etc.) to reach customers through their own first-party channels while leveraging their own brand identity and voice. Drive platform’s fulfillment quality plays a massive role in our ability to drive success and scale the business.

  About the Role

  You will report into the Manager of our Non-Restaurant Quality Team, and will play a pivotal role in driving company growth by optimizing quality for our largest retail partners. Specifically, you will be responsible for developing strategic plans alongside cross-functional partners to improve quality and grow the Drive Non-Restaurant business.

  Your responsibilities will include:

  Developing & executing our quality improvement Strategy to inform the vision for quality improvement both over the course of the next 1-2 quarters as well as 1-2 years, including:

  Defining north star quality metrics for each line of business and for key strategic merchants

  Standing up internal reporting to track progress against quality improvement goals

  Sizing, scoping, and prioritizing product and analytics asks necessary to deliver on quality strategy

  Structuring and executing operational tests to identify levers for improving quality

  Analyzing quality issues, including collecting feedback from merchants, to understand root causes and create a plan to address

  Supporting launch readiness to ensure the successful rollout of new features or services, including:

  Collaborating with product to develop a roadmap that supports growth opportunities 

  Creating dasher education materials, support content, and training materials to support launch

  Standing up boots-on-the-ground operations to ensure the success of new launches 

  Collecting Dx feedback on new app-features or fulfillment services and surface key takeaways to product and engineering

  Own business strategy and outcomes - use data and insights to formulate strategy, provide recommendations and develop operational plans to share with leadership team

  Execute operational plans - take responsibility for implementation plans and go-to-market of new product initiatives

  Explore high growth opportunities - work closely with partners to understand their evolving needs and make the case internally if there is a sizeable opportunity

  Have 4+ years of experience in in strategy, operations, consulting or a like role

  Have experience in bringing new products to market and scaling business processes

  Enjoy working with cross-functional teams and have a strong penchant for influencing others to achieve desired outcomes

  Display extreme ownership over multiple projects and workstreams, while ruthlessly prioritizing what will actually move the needle 

  Are persuasive and will thrive in motivating partners to see the benefits of growing with DoorDash Drive 

  Are comfortable with building and running analytical exercises to deep dive business performance 

  Can think strategically and creatively to come up with solutions to complex problems

  Are a self-starter; you aren’t afraid of failure, have a bias towards action and can thrive in a fast paced environment

  Oscillate easily from strategic considerations to tactical execution 

  Are humble and hungry; you’re willing to get your hands dirty and are open to feedback

  Demonstrate strong communication and reporting skills; can summarize complex issues into succinct problem statements and can provide high-level business commentary to leadership

  Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Masters Degree a plus

  Compensation

  The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below.  Compensation in other geographies may vary.

  Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.  For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location.  Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

  In addition to base salary, the compensation package for this role also includes opportunities for equity grants.

  California Pay Range:

  $98,000—$155,000 USD

  Colorado Pay Range:

  $98,000—$139,500 USD

  New Jersey Pay Range:

  $98,000—$132,000 USD

  New York Pay Range:

  $98,000—$155,000 USD

  Washington Pay Range:

  $98,000—$148,000 USD
