Overview and Essential Functions

　　Entry Level position with on the job training!

　　A successful Aerial Design Technician I shall be able to design pole attachments for telecommunications facilities, complete pole applications, and create design maps. At a minimum, the Aerial Design Technician preferred experience includes a good working knowledge of telecommunications network structure, NESC as it applies to pole attachments, and the ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; familiarity with telecommunications design software; ability to read, understand, interpret, and analyze data.

　　Essential Functions:

　　• Completion of engineering tasks in support of an assigned department/project. Strong math skills required • Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project.• Completion of daily production reports to document work performed.• Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data as well as read, interpret, input, and analyze data. • Additional Duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications

　　• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 2 years of related work experience.• Experienced in the use of hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, IKE, ArcMap, Ocalc Pro, CAD, ArcGIS, Google, etc.)• Experienced in assigned function (Drafting, Designing, Make Ready, Geographic Information Systems, etc.)• Authorized to work in the United States.• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
