This position works daytime and some evening hours and is located within the X-ray Department at the Elk River Clinic. (2/23/2023) POSITION PURPOSE: Performs all duties necessary in the positioning and radiating of patients for mammograms, x-ray processing, quality control of images and processing, patient education regarding exposure. Educations/Experience Required: 1. Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology. 2. Currently registered A.R.R.T in Minnesota. 3. Qualified in mammography (40 hours of initial training) or willing to be trained in mammography upon hire. Preferred: Member of M.S.R.T (Minnesota Society of Radiologic Technologists) or A.S.R.T (American Society of Radiologic Technologists). Processes/reviews finished images and sort/organize images for reading. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy. Assists with department record keeping and related file work.
