Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAP PI (Integration Developer/Engineer) to join our team in the Ft. Detrick, MD area.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design and develop medical logistics integration scenarios using SAP Process Integration (PI)/Process Orchestration (PO) to facilitate the exchange of data between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design solutions that align with business goals.
Develop and configure various types of interfaces, including synchronous and asynchronous communication, file-based interfaces, web services, and other integration patterns.
Implement mappings and transformations to ensure data consistency and accuracy during the integration process.
Configure and maintain communication channels and adapters within SAP PI/PO, ensuring secure and efficient communication between systems.
Work with various adapters such as IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, JDBC, and others.
Monitor integration scenarios and interfaces to ensure smooth operation.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to message processing, connectivity, and data transformations
Optimize integration scenarios and configurations for improved performance and efficiency.
Conduct performance tuning activities to enhance the overall performance of SAP PI/PO interfaces.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP Basis, SAP ABAP, and functional teams, to ensure successful end-to-end integration.
Work with external partners to establish and maintain B2B (business-to-business) integrations."
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with large scale agile approaches such as SAFe
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years experence as a SAP PI/PO Developer, with expertise in integration design and development.
In-depth knowledge of SAP PI/PO architecture, components, and configuration.
Proficiency in integration technologies such as XML, XSLT, and SOAP/REST.
Experience with various adapters, protocols, and connectivity options in SAP PI/PO.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in the context of integration scenarios.
Good understanding of SAP modules and business processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP PI/PO certifications are a plus.Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen; Can obtain a Public Trust clearance; and will be subject to a Tier 3 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only. Candidates who have recently completed T3 investigations are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
