  Iteris is seeking a Northeast district Regional Sales Manager to sell the company's products, systems and/or services with a focus on expansion of the Northeastern market.What you will be doing:Prospect, sell, and establish key/strategic relationships with both existing and new customers, with a focus on "hunting"--i.e., prospecting and discovering new customersSpeak directly and demonstrate product or services to clients and distributors to explain features and merits of products or services offeredAnswers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate coordination of sales negotiations where requiredIdentify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offeredMake sales calls independently presenting product offerings to end user accountsSales calls to existing accounts and distributors to grow overall businessAttend regularly regional industry meetings and trade shows and use of social mediaRegular use of customer relationship management (CRM) to document and manage activities in the territoryWork closely with distributors / channel partners to identify new business and maintain existing customer business to achieve sales targetsMaintain customer/prospect relationships before/after sale and maintain positive reference sitesAttends sales meetings and sales training classesParticipate fully in campaigns and new initiatives learning new products, upgrades, and changes in the market requirementsUp to 50% travelWhat you need to be successful in this role:Preferred Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) or relevant experience. Field of Study: Business Administration, Sales, Traffic Management or related fieldPreferred four (4) years in sales or business development in a technology fieldExperienced in working with direct and indirect sales processExperience with Salesforce CRM is a plusProficient in MS OfficeIteris anticipates paying between $90,000 and $105,000 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.#LI-REMOTE
