Job Description
We are looking to hire an Industrial Hygiene and Safety Leader for the RD Organization located at Fabric Home Care Innovation Center. This role is within Corporate Functions RD but supports the FHCIC site within the HSE organization. This role will provide technical and programmatic support across all RD organizations located at the FHCIC to ensure the ongoing effectiveness and day to day implementation of the IHS Key Elements and some HSE Key Elements within the FHCIC RD Health Safety Environment program.
As the Health, Safety, and Environmental Leader you will:
Provide strong technical safety support to the RD Organizations at FHCIC. The person in this role is their first point of contact for questions and concerns regarding lab/PRL safety and for implementation and compliance of IHS (and some HSE) programs related to RD.
IHS representative on and coleads the change management meetings.
Own key Industrial Hygiene and Safety programs for the site.
Coordinate local implementation of site-wide HSE policies.
Train, coach and develop an effective Area Safety Coordinator Team for the site.
Collect and analyze daily management measures to ensure ongoing capability of the site HSE program.
Lead investigation of RD related safety incidents and/or employee safety concerns.
Ensure day-to-day compliance with RD safety programs, practices, procedures within the Beauty organization on site.
Job Qualifications
Required
Experience working with chemicals and equipment, preferably in a laboratory / Pilot Plant. •Active involvement in a site or organization HSE Key element program…e.g. being responsible for an overall Key Element Program or a specific Key Element or HSE competency area. Experience/Training in Industrial Hygiene Practices, such as qualitative and/or quantitative exposure assessments. Qualified as site IHS Leader.
Strong ability to analyze and interpret data.
Have a track record of establishing positive and productive relationships with a diverse range of customers. This role will require forming constructive relationships and collaborations with various organizational levels and functions within the site and across the city.
Leadership ability to lead RD Area Safety Coordinator Team.
Willingness and ability to train and coach individuals on technical aspects of workplace safety.
Experience in managing information in a database and solid computer skills with standard office software.
Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000
