Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance department. The candidate will be responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Post and process journal entries and ensure all day-to-day business transactions are recorded.

Coordinate billing activities so as to ensure that all invoices are sent to clients on a timely basis.

Review, reconcile, and manage all aspects of accounts receivable including billing, posting payments, and collections.

Coordinate with customers to recognize, research, and resolve all billing discrepancies in an effective and timely manner.

Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.

Prepare and present detailed reports to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial statements.

Coordinate regularly with the finance team and report on any variances, payment defaults, and anomalies identified.

Ensure compliance with company policies and legal procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discretely and professionally.
