Join us.We are currently seeking an Ultrasonic Testing Technician (QualityAssurance) for our Appleton, WI, location who will report to our QualityLeader. This is a weekend night shift, 5pm-5am, Friday-Sunday. Scheduledto work 36 hours but paid for 40! This position also earns an additional\$1/hour for hours worked on nights. Training is paid and is conductedon 1st shift 5am-3pm. All required training and Level II certificationtesting are completed on site. Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is an impressiveQuality Assurance tool that is used for the examination and testingusing ultrasonic frequencies of materials and components that will notchange or destroy the parts\' usefulness. Our Ultrasonic Testingdepartment plays a vital role in ensuring we are producing componentsthat meet quality, reliability and safety standards of ATI and ourcustomers. As an Ultrasonic Technician, you will work with newstate-of-the-art testing and inspection equipment in aclimate-controlled environment and provide examination and testing ofspecialty components by using water immersion ultrasonic testing oncomponents for aerospace jet engines and other high-performanceapplications. In order to become successful, you must quickly learn ATI,our customers, products, processes, and procedures. AdditionalResponsibilities Responsible for accomplishing water immersionultrasonic setups, examination, and testing of components to determineacceptability of material and product Examines product for possibleinternal or external defects and document results accordingly Preparesmaterial in order to properly examine and applying testing methods bycleaning, identifying, setting up equipment, etc. Reads and interpretsblueprints and drawings, specifications and scan procedures in order toaccomplish ultrasonic setups, tests, and report preparation. BasicQualifications High school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications (inaddition to Basic Qualifications) At least 2 years\' manufacturingexperience or a technical degree/certification NDT schooling or priorNDT work experience strongly preferred Military experience.
