Use your skills as a CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team! As a truck driver with Wesco you will operate a tractor trailer in the delivering of cargo to our customers throughout the region/state/locale for the facility. You will need to have an active Class A CDL license and be familiar with flatbeds and the securing of loads on flatbeds. You will service and communicate with our customers by performing the delivery and pick up of products.

What you will do :
Drive vehicles with capacities under three tons in order to transport materials to and from specified destinations
Provide timely service to our customers while observing all laws and Wesco safety guidelines
Load/unload trucks using a forklift and other material handling equipment
Pulls orders to match manifest
Loads materials, verifying loads for accuracy, on the truck for delivery
Plans route to and from customers’ business and adjusts for traffic and/or construction
Delivers and unloads merchandise to customer and obtains customer’s signature for proof of delivery
Maintains contact with dispatcher to receive instructions about scheduled delivery or pick up
Conducts daily pre-trip and post trip inspections of tractor trailer and maintains logs of vehicles condition and repair needs
Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations

What you Need:
High School Degree or Equivalent preferred
Valid Class A CDL license to operate vehicle with GVW over 26,000 pounds not in combination, or transport hazardous materials that require placarding
At least 2 years of experience operating a vehicle requiring a Class A CDL license
Satisfactory driving record
Successfully complete pre-employment (post offer) background check
Ability to obtain forklift certification
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a team environment
Detail oriented
Customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally
