The Opportunity
The Sr. Specialist Quality Assurance (m/f/d) works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH). in the Abbott Diabetes Care division that is focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.
What You’ll Do
Managing project quality escalations and works cross-functionally with appropriate SMEs.
Responsibility for managing and tracking responses to regulatory agencies.
Responsibility for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.
Independently contributes to Quality System processes which may include training, corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) activities, product and process planning, and quality audits.
Determining quality attributes and requirements and providing technical assistance.
Completing independently documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with business standards.
Understanding and complying with applicable EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Identifying technical risks and consequences for projects
Recommending appropriate action and driving functional performance to ensure that cross-functional standards are met.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in a Quality function role, preferable in regulatory industry
Experience in Post Market Surveillance and Complain handling.
Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements
Well-developed interpersonal skills required to form resonant relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong technical problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, and in a timely fashion.
Must communicate effectively (verbal and written) with supervisors and peers.
Excellent English skills required.
