Position Overview: (Full-Time) 40 Hrs. per week plus
The successful candidate for the position of Service Coordinator/Dispatch will work directly with, and act as support to, our commercial HVAC service department and team of service technicians. Good organizational and communications skills are a must as this position will communicate with the customer to determine service needs. This person will schedule and notify technicians of assignments and enter necessary data into the computer database. Professional phone skills and customer service dedication are highly valued.
Prior HVAC experience is helpful. Prior customer service experience, especially by phone, is preferred.
Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):
Manage the daily dispatch board for all service technicians in an effective and efficient manner based on the job requirements, job location, the technicians' skill level and customer availability.Prioritize service requests and schedule jobs accordingly to address the most urgent customer needs as quickly as possible.Communicate with both customers and service technicians before each job to ensure the technician has all the necessary information to succeed and after each job to ensure the job is complete.Enter work orders by gathering detailed address information from customers and get a basic overview of the service issue.Organize, prepare material lists, and stage equipment/tooling for each job as required.By day end, ensure that the schedule for the next day is set, technicians have been notified and any applicable parts are prepared.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Willingness to invest time in training and development.Able to take initiative on own and also follow directions as given, both written and verbal.Organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient computer skills: MS Excel, Word and Outlook.Experience in customer service will be a plus.Compensation & Benefits (Salary)
