Description
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate "Standardized Procedures" (SP). By using the SPs the NP is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings (Ca Nursing Practice Act, subsection(b) of Section 2725). Provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. Participate in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provide education and support, as well as make appropriate referrals. Document services rendered.
NP2 : Salary range : $84.82- $121.13/hourly
NP1: 76.51/hourlyQualifications
MSN/DNP in FNP, Adult -Gero Primary Care NP or Adult -Gero Acute Care NP Specialty-required
CA RN license, CA NP license ,Furnishing Number with schedule II, DEA, NPI - required
National Board Certification in NP Specialty-required
BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross-required
Previous NP experience-preferred
Previous GI experience- required
Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs -required
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required
Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required
Ability to set priorities- required
Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required
Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner- required
NP1 : less than 6 months exp : $76.51.hourly
