Job Summary
Under general supervision the Manager provides administrative,educational, and clinical oversight to employees and student learners in theAmbulatory Care Services Integrated Behavioral Health Division. Managerparticipates in quality improvement initiatives, data collection,productivity, grant writing and oversight, and other research as requiredto ensure sustainability of service delivery and daily operations. Managerparticipates in policy planning and implementation. Manager functions as theliaison with community partners and stakeholders both internal and external tothe organization to further the goals of the Integrated Behavioral HealthDivision. The Manager engages in direct clinical service provision forpatients as a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) and participates insupervision and teaching for licensed providers and student learners.
Essential Functions:
Clinical Service DeliveryManages and coordinates clinical service delivery and daily activities ofemployees in accordance with all Denver Health, state and federalregulations to include: the Joint Commission, HIPAA, 42 CFR, and allapplicable mental health rules and regulations. (60%)Staff ManagementRecruits, hires, onboards and administers disciplinary actions for allstaff. Oversees scheduling, staffing, standard workflows, and assignsand reviews work. Provides administrative and clinical supervision to licensedproviders and employees. Provides clinical supervision and/or reflectivesupervision in accordance with Healthy Steps national requirements. Setsperformance expectations by communicating professional behavior, jobexpectations, and by maintaining, presenting, reviewing and updatingemployee job descriptions. Completes annual performance evaluations. (35%)Quality ImprovementFacilitates quality improvement initiatives, research and data collection,grant writing and oversight to ensure sustainability of relevant programs,including Healthy Steps. Actively contributes to all LEAN processes, and allDenver Health, department, and clinic performance improvement initiatives.Seeks out educational and training opportunities to advance skills andknowledge, shares knowledge with others. Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or otherrelated human services degree. Required andPost Graduate Diploma or Certificate Program Successful completion ofcoursework and examination for licensure as a Licensed ProfessionalCounselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Psychologist.
